The Ultimate Staycation For Your Cat - Right Here At Boca Park Animal Hospital
Besides being your pet’s family doctor, we also want to be your trusted petsitter. When you are traveling, you want the peace of mind that comes with leaving your beloved feline friend in a veterinarian-supervised boarding facility. Our luxurious cat boarding facility offers your four-legged family member caring and attentive supervision in a pampering home away from home.
A Calm, Secure, & Nurturing Environment
There is nothing more luxurious than a relaxing vacation away from home. If you’re a cat owner, however, it can be hard to relax while worrying whether your chosen caregiver is following your cat's particular routine and seeing to their needs. When you board your cat at Boca Park Animal Hospital, you can relax knowing that they are properly cared for in a calming, secure, and nurturing environment.
What would a typical stay be like for my cat?
The cat area of our luxury boarding facility is located in a separate wing to ensure the calmest environment possible. Our spacious cat condos have three separate spaces, giving them plenty of room to play, eat and rest. For cats who enjoy a little more exploration, we have a central space featuring a cat tree for climbing and scratching, a hammock for napping, and perching surfaces at various heights to suit your cat’s preferences. Our climate-controlled facilities remain clean and orderly at all times, and each cat condo is equipped with a web-enabled camera so you can check on your cat while you’re away. We even have adjoining condos for cats in the same family!
Can I bring my cat's favorite food, toys, and other belongings?
Yes! We know how particular cats can be, so special requests are encouraged so that they can follow their usual routine. Our practice provides comfortable bedding, or you may choose to bring your pet’s own washable bedding from home. If your cat has a favorite toy or comfort item, bring it along to help them feel more at home. Sometimes the stress of missing their favorite humans, or any change in routine, can cause your cat to not feel like eating. To help with this, we recommend sending along some favorite treats to help make their food a little more tempting. Should you forget your dog’s food or prefer not to provide your own, we will provide Hill's Pet Nutrition diets.
What if my cat needs medications or treatments?
Boca Park Animal Hospital's boarding facilities are well-equipped to handle any ongoing medical needs your pet may have. We regularly administer oral medications, breathing treatments, IV or injectable medications, and fluids. Your pet is monitored throughout their entire stay with us. Should they become sick or injured, we would attend to them immediately as well as communicate with you about the issue.
What else should I know about boarding my cat at Boca Park Animal Hospital?
If you have never boarded your pet with us before, we invite you to come down and tour our facility so you can make sure that we are the right match for you and your cat. We want you to feel comfortable with the level of care and attention we provide and we want your pet to enjoy their time with us.
